Yet the products with the strongest privacy reputations tend to run as non-profits or on donations — which leaves a genuine gap: a privacy-first messenger that also stands on its own as a real, sustainable business.
DM NATIVE is built to close that gap — an uncompromising privacy posture paired with an honest commercial model. We earn from optional services people actively want, never from surveillance.

We're building the standard for private communication — a messenger where the company literally cannot read your messages, and is engineered so it never needs to. Encryption keys never leave the device; our servers only ever relay ciphertext they cannot decrypt. Privacy isn't a setting or a promise here — it's the architecture.
Revenue comes from optional, opt-in value layered on top of that base — for example the planned DM NATIVE Store (premium stickers, themes and creator content), business and team tools, and other in-app services. The free core stays free, private, and ad-free forever; the business is built on things people choose to buy, never on their data.
